Withdrawal Policy
The Physicians' Review recognizes that authors may sometimes need to withdraw their manuscript submissions. To maintain fairness and efficiency in the publication process, the following withdrawal policy applies:
-
Withdrawal Before Peer Review
Authors may withdraw their manuscript at any time before the peer-review process has begun by notifying the editorial office in writing (via email). The withdrawal will be acknowledged promptly, and no further action will be taken. -
Withdrawal During or After Peer Review
Once the peer-review process has started, withdrawal requests are discouraged as the journal invests significant time and resources in reviewing. However, authors may submit a formal withdrawal request with a valid reason. The editorial team will review the request and decide accordingly. -
Withdrawal After Acceptance
Withdrawal after acceptance or publication is generally not permitted except in exceptional circumstances. Requests must be made in writing with detailed justification and will be carefully considered by the editorial board. -
Consequences of Withdrawal
-
If a manuscript is withdrawn after peer review or acceptance, the journal reserves the right to record the withdrawal in its records, which may impact future submissions by the authors.
-
Withdrawn manuscripts will not be published, and no fees (if any) will be refunded.
-
How to Request Withdrawal
Withdrawal requests must be sent in writing to the editorial office at [insert official journal email], including the manuscript title, authors’ names, and manuscript ID (if available).
