1. Funding Structure

The Physicians' Review (TPR) follows a transparent and sustainable funding approach to ensure high-quality scholarly publishing. The journal’s operations are supported through:

Article Processing Fee (APF)
Authors pay a processing fee upon acceptance of their manuscript. This contribution supports:

• Editorial management and workflow coordination

• Double-blind peer review process

• Plagiarism screening and quality checks

• Formatting, copyediting, and typesetting

• DOI registration and indexing

• Online hosting and long-term archiving

Institutional Support
TPR is backed by its editorial and publishing institution, providing administrative, technical, and operational support to maintain continuous publication.

Academic Contributions
Occasional support from professional bodies, medical societies, and research organizations helps advance the journal’s mission for accessible, open scholarly communication.

Print Copy Revenue
Revenue from optional print subscriptions helps cover printing, distribution, and archiving costs.

TPR maintains full editorial independence and does not accept funding that could influence editorial decisions.

2. Author Fees

TPR follows a transparent fee policy designed to balance quality and accessibility:

Article Processing Fee (APF)

• PKR 18,000 / USD 70 (payable after acceptance)

• Covers editorial handling, peer review management, typesetting, DOI assignment, and online publication.

Submission Fee

• No submission fee required.

• Manuscripts can be submitted via the OJS system free of charge.

Optional Print Copy Fee

• PKR 2,500 / USD 12 per copy

• Available for authors requesting hard copies of their published issue.

Expedited Review Option (Optional)

• PKR 12,000 / USD 50

• Provides an initial editorial decision within 5–7 working days.

• Expedited review accelerates processing but does not guarantee acceptance.

3. Waivers and Discounts

TPR encourages participation from a wide range of authors:

• Student Discount: 50% waiver for students with valid institutional ID.

• Financial Hardship: Partial or full waiver for authors from low-income regions or without research funding, subject to approval.

• Special Discounts: For invited papers, collaborative projects, or thematic issues.

Waiver requests should be submitted at the time of manuscript submission.

4. Payment Methods

Authors may pay fees via:

• Bank Transfer (local or international)

• Easypaisa / JazzCash (for Pakistan-based authors)

• PayPal (for international authors)

A formal invoice is issued upon manuscript acceptance.
